Today, researching the Internet for information about book publishers is more confusing than ever before. Many vanity book publishers (most self publishing companies) are presenting themselves to look like traditional book publishers, wrongfully implying that they provide authors the same level of services and opportunities to succeed in the book selling marketplace. There are also established, well known traditional book publishers and bookstores now obtaining new sources of profit by offering to publish new first time authors, but under their "vanity imprints" only, that fool the naive new author into believing they have the same opportunity to succeed as their traditionally published authors under their regular imprints.

To further add to the misunderstanding, there are false statements about traditional publishers posted online by the vanity companies or others to steer authors away from them. They appear as credible warnings, but are posted by various competitors and unethical or rejected writers to drive authors away from certain companies or towards others, much in the same fashion as we see in unpleasant negative political advertisements near election time. 

Where are authors to go to get accurate information? 

We have created this website for such a purpose, about one traditional book publishing company American Book Publishing. 

We are presenting information about the American Book Publishing company here through the publishing experience of our authors and a few industry references only.

Not our words, but all our author's own words, with their full names, book titles and book covers, over 400 of our authors (over 95% of our authors published over the last decade), illustrate that American Book Publishing provides an exceptional book publishing option for authors today that are looking for a traditional publisher with high quality services. 

These author references provides an insider's look at the high quality of services in professional content editing, copy editing, custom graphic book cover design and library standard grade book production with wide bookstore distribution and complete book marketing services. 

While American Book Publishing will only select about 50 titles on average over the last decade and about 80 titles annually to publish today, those honored, selected authors can be assured by our existing author family that they will receive exceptional service. Many of the titles listed are in various stages of their life as a book. Some are still in the pre release stage and so are not listed with the stores until their formal release or launch date. Others are currently in post release and on the market, and some are many years old and have gone out of print.

We have searched the Internet and have NOT found another book publisher who is willing to post a substantial amount of their authors’ references together with their full names and book titles to provide potential authors a transparent and accurate assessment of their book publishing company. 

We would like to challenge other book publishers today to follow our example and provide this same information from the majority of their authors and expose their author satisfaction rating and number of books published a year or over their history of publishing. 

We hope that prospective authors considering American Book Publishing will compare the quality and number of our author referrals to what other publishers are willing to provide in published author referrals so that new authors searching for a book publisher can make a well informed decision. 

We hope to help authors make their decisions based on actual author experience and facts, instead of the glitzy Internet marketing copywriting or deceptive, negative and often misleading Internet pages.
